Continuing our expedition, we arrive at Bekal, a coastal town known for its historic Bekal Fort and untouched beaches. Stroll along the golden sands of Bekal Beach, where you can witness stunning sunsets, indulge in water sports, or simply relax under the swaying palm trees. DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN TRIVANDRUM (INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT)

Upon your arrival at Trivandrum’s International Airport, you will clear customs and immigration before collecting your baggage. Our representative will be waiting to meet you and transfer you to Varkala beach, which is approximately 60 kilometers away and will take about 2 hours. Upon reaching your hotel, check-in to your room and take some time to relax. Varkala is a unique destination in southern Kerala, known for its cliffs that overlook the Arabian Sea.

DAY 02: LEISURE DAY IN VARKALA

Today is a leisure day for you to unwind and enjoy the beach. You can choose to simply relax on the sandy shores or indulge in rejuvenating Keralan Ayurvedic therapies offered at your hotel.

DAY 03: VARKALA – ALLEPPEY BACKWATERS (HOUSEBOAT)

After breakfast at the hotel, you have the morning free at your leisure. Later in the day, you will be driven to the Alleppey boat jetty, which is approximately 120 kilometers away and will take about 2 ½ hours. At the jetty, you will board a houseboat that will gently sail through the backwaters of Kerala. Enjoy the scenic beauty and serenity of this unique network of lakes, lagoons, and canals. All meals will be served onboard.

DAY 04: DRIVE FROM ALLEPPEY BACKWATERS TO COCHIN AND CITY TOUR

After breakfast on the houseboat, bid farewell to the crew and disembark at Alleppey boat jetty. From there, you will be driven to Cochin, which is approximately 60 kilometers away and will take about 1 ½ hours. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and freshen up. Then, embark on a city tour of Cochin. Visit the oldest Jewish Synagogue in India, built in 1568, and explore the Dutch Palace, known for its stunning murals depicting the Ramayana. Next, visit St. Francis Church, the first European-style church in India. In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali dance show, a traditional dance form of southern India.

DAY 05: JOURNEY TO WAYANAD

After breakfast, you will embark on a 5-hour drive to Wayanad. Upon arrival, check-in at your resort nestled in the tropical rainforest. Vythiri Resort offers a perfect blend of luxury and natural surroundings. Take this day to relax and engage in independent activities amidst the breathtaking vistas.

DAY 06: EXPLORE WAYANAD

Today is a free day for you to explore the area and participate in various activities. You can go trekking, visit indigenous tribal villages, go on plantation tours, engage in yoga and meditation sessions, or visit attractions such as Pookot Lake, Thirunelli Temple, or Soojipara Waterfalls. If interested, arrangements can be made for a stay at a Tree House within Vythiri Resort.

DAY 07: JOURNEY FROM WAYANAD TO BEKAL

After enjoying breakfast surrounded by nature, you will drive north from Wayanad to Bekal. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. Later, visit the historic Bekal Fort, which offers a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea from its observation towers.

DAY 08: LEISURE DAY IN BEKAL

Today is a leisure day for you to relax and rejuvenate yourself before your return journey. Take the time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and make the most of your stay.

DAY 09: DEPARTURE FROM BEKAL – MANGALORE AIRPORT – MUMBAI

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Mangalore Airport to catch a short flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will embark on an orientation tour of the city, including attractions like Marine Drive, Chowpatty Beach, Malabar Hill, Hanging Gardens, Dhobi Ghat, Mahalakshmi Temple, and the Prince of Wales museum. Afterward, you will have dinner at a local restaurant before being transferred to the international airport for your flight back home.
