You will arrive at the Capital city of India “Delhi”. After clearing immigration and other formalities at the airport you will be met by our representative at arrival hall terminal where you will find many people paging for their guests. Out of them you will find our representative holding a placard with your name written on it. He will assist and escort you to your vehicle and further transfer to the hotel.
Explore Old Delhi in the first half of the day. The sightseeing tour will begin with visit to Emperors. Later proceed for visit to The Jama Masjid (mosque) and enjoy the rickshaw ride on busy roads of Chandni Chowk. Also drive past Old Fort
The next half day will be reserved for visit to New Delhi. Start with Qutub Minar, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Delhi, The Qutub Minar is constructed with red sandstone and marble, and is the tallest minaret in India, with a height of 72.5 meters. It contains 379 stairs and the base diameter is 14.3 meters and it narrows to 2.7 meters at the last storey. Your next stop will be Humayun’s Tomb. During the drive you will pass Connaught place, India gate, Rastrapati Bhawan (President’s House) and some other important building.
Today morning you will be driven from Delhi to Samode (approx. 6 hours). Upon arrival check-in at your hotel (Palace). Samode Palace is one of India’s most charming and romantic hotels. Early in the morning you will be taken to Amber Fort (1 hour from Samode, per way), enroute to which you will enjoy the visit to Hawa Mahal (Palace on wind). At the entrance gate you will be provided with Elephant, climb as he will ascend and take you to the fort. You will return by foot.
Post Amber Fort visit, you will be taken to visit City Palace, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. It was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, the head of the Kachwaha Rajput clan. The Chandra Mahal palace now houses a museum but the greatest part of it is still a royal residence.
Post visit you will be taken to local restaurant where you will be served with mouth watering Rajasthani Cuisine.
Return back to Samode after the visit of Jaipur city.
After breakfast, you will be driven from Samode to Chhatrasagar (Nimaj – Tented accommodation). The drive will be of approx. 06 hrs. In the late nineteenth century, Thakur Chhatra Singh of Nimaj, a powerful noble of the desert kingdom of Marwar (Jodhpur), decided to dam a seasonal stream flowing through his estate. His vision was to create a water reservoir which would harvest the monsoon rains. It was an ambitious project and a great drain on his resources, but Thakur Chhatra Singh remained true to his vision.
Upon arrival proceed for check-in at the Camp following which the remainder of the day will be at leisure to enjoy the activities like Kabila Safari (Village Visit), Village Culture walk (Village Visit), Jungle Safaris around Nimaj (Bird Watching, Jeep Safaris).
Overnight in the luxury tented accommodation
In the morning drive to Rohet (approx. 04½ hrs), enroute stopping at Jodhpur for sightseeing of Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. You will be amazed to see the massive Mehrangarh Fort, inside its boundaries there are several palaces known for their intricate carvings and expansive courtyards. A winding road leads to and from the city below. The imprints of cannonball hits by attacking armies of Jaipur can still be seen on the second gate. You will also visit Jaswan Thada.
After sightseeing continue to Rohet. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at the Resort.
After an early breakfast, proceed for a Jeep safari to the neighboring Bishnoi Village, Showcasing the best of the land, it is a complete cultural experience, which encompasses all that this region has to offer. From the warm and hospitable people, to the various customs and ceremonies and the abundant wildlife, guests have the rare privilege of being welcomed into people’s homes and interacting with them. They get to experience and understand a way of life that takes them closer to their roots. Here you meet the ‘Premier ecologists of the world’, the Bishnois, who have protected nature for more than 500 years and are responsible for the very survival of species like the Black Buck antelope (India’s most beautiful antelope and a rare and protected species today). They share a beautiful relationship with this special animal, wherein the antelope stays close to Bishnoi habitation, never leaving it, and displays complete trust in the Bishnoi people.
In the afternoon drive to Devigarh (approx. 5 hours). Nestled in the Aravali Hills, the 18th century Devi Garh Palace in the village of Delwara, forms one of the three main passes into the valley of Udaipur. Devi Garh, is ready for visitors after years of restoration and rebuilding. The Fort palace was conceived as a place where the past meets the future. This all suite luxury hotel comprising of 39 suites with an emphasis on design and detail, using local marbles and semi-precious stones.
Rest of the evening will be at leisure to enjoy your palace stay
Enjoy the breakfast at your hotel. Post breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Udaipur (1 hour from Devigarh). First you will visit City palace, built by the Maharana Udai Singh as the capital of the Sisodia Rajput clan in 1559, after he moved from Chittor. It is located on the east bank of the Lake Pichola and has several palaces built within its complex. Later you will also visit Sahelion-Ki-Bari and Jagdish Temple.
In the late afternoon enjoy the boat ride on Lake Pichola. In this lake you will also find here you will also enjoy boat ride in Lake Pichola, is an artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362 AD, named after the nearby Picholi village. Jag Mandir and the famous Lake Palace hotel are located in the lake and accessible by boat only.
Return to Devigarh for an overnight stay
Today you will be transferred to Udaipur airport to board your afternoon flight for Mumbai. Upon arrival, meet and assist at Mumbai airport and transfer further to your pre booked hotel.
The evening will be free for independent activities. You can also explore the Colaba Causeway, You will be amazed to see a small roadside vendor to a high end brand shop in one straight road. You will also experience some lovely food from local cuisine to international at famous cafes located in this market.
Today we will take you to excursion of Elephanta Caves, a short ferry ride takes you to the island of Elephanta Caves also known as the Gharapuri in the local language meaning fortress city. These rock cut caves belong to the ninth century and are dedicated to Lord Shiva. Visit this island approachable only by ferry and you will be amazed to see the rock cut caves lying in the midst of this island.
Later proceed for City tour of Mumbai including visits to Marine Drive, Chowpatty Beach, Malabar Hill, Hanging Gardens, Dhobi Ghat, the Towers of Silence, Mahalakshmi Temple, the Tomb of Haji Ali and Mani Bhavan. The tour will also include a visit to interesting Prince of Wales museum (closed on Mondays)
Post breakfast you will be transferred to international airport to connect the flight for onward destination.
