Concluding the Heritage Trail is the vibrant metropolis of Mumbai, the financial capital of India. Immerse yourself in the bustling energy of the city as you explore its iconic landmarks, such as the Gateway of India and the historic Victoria Terminus. Experience the diverse culture, culinary delights, and the indomitable spirit of this cosmopolitan melting pot.

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi (International Flight)

Upon your arrival at Delhi, the capital city of India, you will go through immigration and other formalities at the airport. Our representative will be waiting for you in the arrival hall with a placard bearing your name. They will assist you and escort you to your vehicle for a comfortable transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing – Old and New Delhi

In the morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi. Begin with a visit to the historical monuments of the emperors. Explore the magnificent Jama Masjid (mosque) and enjoy a rickshaw ride through the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk. Drive past the majestic Old Fort.

In the second half of the day, discover New Delhi. Start with the iconic Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the red sandstone and marble structure, the tallest minaret in India, standing at a height of 72.5 meters. Next, visit Humayun’s Tomb and catch glimpses of other significant landmarks such as Connaught Place, India Gate, and the President’s House (Rashtrapati Bhavan).

Day 3: Travel to Agra

Today, you will be driven to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. The journey will take approximately 4 hours. After lunch, embark on a sightseeing tour of Agra. Begin with a visit to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This magnificent fort served as a walled city and was captured by the Mughals in 1526, yielding a great treasure that included the famous diamond, Koh-I-Noor.

Later, visit Mehtab Bagh for the best sunset view of the Taj Mahal and capture beautiful photographs.

Day 4: Travel to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Early in the morning, experience the enchanting sunrise at the Taj Mahal. Words cannot fully describe the beauty of this iconic monument, and you will surely fall in love with it as the first rays of sunlight illuminate its majestic facade.

After the visit, return to your hotel for check-out and breakfast. Then, proceed to Jaipur with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a historical city built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Admire the architectural marvels of this deserted city before continuing your drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check-in at your hotel and take some rest. In the evening, you can explore the vibrant old bazaars of the pink city, Jaipur.

Day 5: Explore the Pink City, Jaipur

Early morning, visit the magnificent Amber Fort. En route, make a stop at Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of the Winds. At the fort’s entrance, an elephant will be provided for you to ascend to the fort, and you can descend on foot.

After the Amber Fort, proceed to visit the City Palace, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces, along with other buildings. This palace complex was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur. Explore the Jantar Mantar, an observatory, and visit the Birla Temple. If time permits, immerse yourself in the vibrant local markets, where shops are painted in pink, the color of Jaipur.

Day 6: Travel to Nimaj

After breakfast, embark on a drive to Nimaj. Upon arrival, check-in at Chattrasagar, a serene and unique tented accommodation situated on a dam overlooking a lake. Enjoy the day at leisure and participate in activities organized by your host. The camp offers farm and village visits, as well as bird-watching tours. All meals will be served during your tented accommodation.

Day 7: Drive further to Shahpura

After breakfast at the camp, you will drive to Shahpura. On arrival, check-in at Shahpura Bagh, an authentic home-stay experience in Rajasthan. Life in Shahpura is unhurried, and you can enjoy your days with sunshine, conversations, picnics, fishing, and boating on the lakes, while savoring the tranquil sunsets. All meals will be served at Shahpura Bagh.

Day 8: Travel to Udaipur via visiting Kumbhalgarh Fort

Post breakfast, proceed to the romantic city of Udaipur. En route, visit the majestic Kumbhalgarh Fort, built during the 15th century. This fort is known for its grandeur and is associated with the great king and warrior Maharana Pratap. Enjoy lunch at a hotel in Kumbhalgarh. Afterward, continue your journey to Udaipur and check-in at your hotel. The rest of the evening is free for you to explore at your leisure.

Day 9: Explore the City of Lakes, Udaipur

After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Begin with a visit to the splendid City Palace, built by Maharana Udai Singh in 1559. This palace complex is located on the eastern bank of Lake Pichola and houses several palaces within its premises. Continue to Sahelion-Ki-Bari and Jagdish Temple.

In the late afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. The lake offers stunning views and is home to the Jag Mandir and the famous Lake Palace hotel, accessible only by boat.

Day 10: Fly to Aurangabad

Today, you will be transferred to the airport to board a flight to Aurangabad. Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 11: Explore Ajanta Caves (UNESCO Site)

Embark on a full-day excursion to the Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These rock-cut cave monuments date back to the 2nd century BCE and showcase exquisite Buddhist religious art. Marvel at the intricate paintings and sculptures depicting Buddha figures and Jataka tales. The Ajanta Caves are protected by the Archaeological Survey of India and offer a unique glimpse into ancient history.

Day 12: Explore Ellora Caves and Fly to Mumbai

After breakfast, visit the Ellora Caves for a half-day tour. Ellora is renowned for the largest single monolithic excavation in the world, the remarkable Kailasa (Cave 16). These caves are best enjoyed during the monsoon season when streams fill with rainwater, creating a lush green ambiance. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 13: Explore Mumbai City and Elephanta Caves (UNESCO Site)

Embark on a sightseeing tour of Mumbai. Visit the Elephanta Caves, located on an island in the Arabian Sea. These caves consist of Hindu and Buddhist rock-cut sculptures, with the Hindu caves dedicated to the god Shiva. Admire the rock-cut architecture, which dates back to the 5th to 8th centuries.

Continue your tour with visits to the Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan, Marine Drive, Gateway of India, Dhobi Ghat, and, if time permits, Haji Ali Dargah (Mosque).

Day 14: Departure from Mumbai (International Flight)

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, you will be transferred to the international airport foryour departure flight back home.
