DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KOLKATA (BY INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT)

Upon your arrival at Kolkata International Airport, our representative will be waiting for you at the arrival hall terminal. Look for our representative holding a placard with your name on it. They will assist you through immigration and other formalities before escorting you to your hotel for check-in.

DAY 2: EXPLORE KOLKATA

After breakfast, embark on a full-day city tour of Kolkata. Start by visiting the vibrant Flower Market and driving past the iconic Howrah Bridge. Then, go on an excursion to Belur Math and Dakshineshwar Kali Temple. On your way back to Kolkata, visit College Street Book Market, Indian Coffee House, and Kumhartoli.

DAY 3: FLY TO BAGDOGRA

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a short non-stop flight to Bagdogra (approximately 1 hour). Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and drive you to Glenburn Tea Estate, located approximately 85 kilometers away (about 2 ½ hours). Glenburn is a tranquil plantation retreat nestled on a hillock above the banks of the River Rungeet, offering breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga mountain range. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at your own pace.

DAY 4 & 5: GLENBURN TEA ESTATE

These two days are yours to relax and rejuvenate at the beautiful Glenburn Tea Estate. Take leisurely walks in the serene surroundings and immerse yourself in nature’s beauty.

DAY 6: DRIVE TO KALIMPONG

After breakfast at the estate, you will be driven to Kalimpong (approximately 35 kilometers, 1 to 1 ½ hours). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. After freshening up, visit Thongsa Gompa and Zong Dog Palri Fo Brang Gompa, famous for its Tibetan wall paintings. You can also explore the religious debating society and the school of Tibetan medicine.

DAY 7: DRIVE TO GANGTOK

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then embark on a drive to Gangtok (approximately 75 kilometers, 2 hours). Gangtok is known for its cleanliness, organization, and natural beauty, earning it the nickname “Switzerland of the East.” Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten, and Rumtek Monastery.

DAY 8: GANGTOK

After breakfast, visit Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, a stunning glacial lake located approximately 40 kilometers from Gangtok. Return to Gangtok for further sightseeing, including a visit to Rumtek Monastery.

DAY 9: TRANSFER TO BAGDOGRA AIRPORT

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bagdogra airport (approximately 125 kilometers, 2 ½ hours) for your flight back to Kolkata. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The evening is free for leisure activities, or you can opt for an additional sightseeing tour (optional).

DAY 10: DEPARTURE FROM KOLKATA

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Kolkata International Airport for your return flight home.
